What happened: Miami elevated kicker Zane Gonzalez and edge rusher Max Llewellyn from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of Sunday's divisional game against New England. The roster moves mark the second consecutive week Miami has elevated both players for game day.

Why it matters: Gonzalez offers specialized kicking depth after signing with Miami on Oct. 20 following an injured reserve stint in August. Llewellyn, drafted 238th overall out of Iowa, provides depth in the defensive front's edge rotation.

What to watch: Both players are eligible to suit up against the Patriots on Sunday.
