What happened: Goaltender Dustin Wolf took the net for the Calgary Flames during their home matchup against the Seattle Kraken. Wolf credited Calgary with controlling play after the opening period while turning aside chances from the crease.

Why it matters: Calgary relies heavily on Wolf to stabilize the goaltending rotation as the club navigates early-season Pacific Division play. Establishing consistency in net remains vital for the Flames before heading out on road swings against divisional and conference opponents.

What to watch: The Flames travel to face the Colorado Avalanche, with puck drop scheduled for Sat Oct 31, 10:00 PM ET.
