Wolf landed in Tier 5A, the list's Support group.

What happened: The annual ranking sorts 150 players across five categories, from MVP to Support. Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid took the top spot for a sixth consecutive year.

Why it matters: Calgary's reliance on internal prospects puts added weight on its young core entering 2026-27. Matt Coronato and Zayne Parekh are among the players whose development could reshape perceptions of the rebuild.

By the numbers: Wolf went 23-29-3 in 2025-26. The 25-year-old is a two-time AHL Goaltender of the Year and former AHL MVP.

What to watch: Training camp will offer the next measure of Wolf's trajectory and Calgary's young roster.
