What happened: Philadelphia ruled Saquon Barkley out for Sunday against Carolina. The hamstring injury has sidelined him since Oct. 5.

Why it matters: Philadelphia is already without Jalen Hurts for the matchup, thinning its offensive core. The absence pushes backup backs into the primary workload against Carolina.

By the numbers: Barkley ran 280 times for 1,140 yards and 7 touchdowns in 16 games in 2025 with Philadelphia.

What to watch: Philadelphia's next injury report will show whether Barkley can return for Week 7. Carolina now prepares for Philadelphia's backup backs.
