What happened: Erik Sabrowski struck out Munetaka Murakami to escape a bases-loaded situation and end the inning. Cleveland subsequently capitalized on the momentum to take its first lead of Game 5.

Why it matters: The outcome denied Chicago a multi-run inning in a winner-take-all elimination matchup. Sabrowski secured the final out for the Cleveland Guardians against a hitter who homered earlier in the series.

What to watch: Cleveland advances to the ALCS if they hold the lead through the final innings.
