LB Kendal Daniels is still down after making that nice stop. He took a nasty shot to the head. #Falcons Via @marcraimondi on X

What happened: Daniels remained on the turf after absorbing a blow to the head while finishing a defensive stop on Sunday, per Marc Raimondi. The stoppage occurred with the Atlanta Falcons holding 103 net yards at the 10:32 mark of the third quarter after trimming their second-quarter deficit to 14-7.

Why it matters: Daniels was named a Week 1 starter as a rookie following summer camp sessions where he managed calf tendinitis and later operated under scheduled September practice limits. An absence would further test an Atlanta linebacker unit that placed a defender on injured reserve Oct. 11 and signed another to the active roster on Saturday.

What to watch: Atlanta will issue an official game-status update once team medical personnel complete their evaluation.
