What happened: A fan engaged Dillon Brooks in an intense staring contest during pregame warmups. The interaction drew laughter from surrounding spectators before Brooks returned to his routine.

Why it matters: The staredown followed a pattern for Brooks, who previously opened a youth basketball camp with a staring contest in September. His steady presence remains central to Phoenix after averaging 17.6 points through the first seven games.

What to watch: Phoenix hosts the Houston Rockets on Saturday night.
