What happened: The New York Jets downgraded Joseph Ossai, Nahshon Wright, and VJ Payne to out on Saturday. All three players had previously been designated as questionable on Friday.

Why it matters: The downgrades deplete New York's defensive depth as the team looks to bounce back from a 38-33 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Ossai has been managing an ankle injury, while cornerback Nahshon Wright has voiced frustration over his limited defensive workload.

What to watch: The Jets will finalize their active game-day roster 90 minutes before kickoff against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
