What happened: Brian Flores deflected credit for Minnesota's defensive identity, saying it belongs to the players. He pointed to their work as the foundation of the Vikings defense.

Why it matters: The comment underscores a player-driven approach on defense in Minnesota. That framing puts accountability for execution on the roster moving forward.

What to watch: The Vikings turn toward their next game with that standard in place.
