What happened: Authorities arrested four suspects in connection with the February shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive lineman Keion White, per Vic Tafur and David Lombardi. The incident occurred at a San Francisco nightclub during a Super Bowl party, where White suffered a gunshot wound to the ankle.

Why it matters: The arrests bring law enforcement resolution to an offseason incident that preceded White's recovery ahead of the 49ers' season opener. White has since returned to the active defensive rotation for San Francisco during the 2026 campaign.

What to watch: Legal proceedings for the four arrested suspects will move forward in California as the 49ers continue their regular-season schedule.
