What happened: Franz Wagner exchanged jerseys with soccer figures Jürgen Klopp and Johan Bakayoko at last season's NBA Berlin Game. The cross-sport meeting brought together the German basketball forward and two prominent figures from European soccer during the league's international showcase in Germany.

Why it matters: The look back at the Berlin event arrives alongside the league's annual NBA Jersey Day promotion on Monday, Oct. 19. Since that meeting last season, Jürgen Klopp agreed to become Germany's national team head coach following Julian Nagelsmann's resignation in July.

What to watch: Wagner wraps up preseason play ahead of the 2026-27 NBA regular-season tip-off on Tuesday, Oct. 20.
