What happened: Freddie Freeman owns eight postseason homers off left-handed pitching, the most on record via Elias Sports. The mark stands Oct. 7 during the 2026 postseason.

Why it matters: Same-side power is scarce in October, when managers chase platoon edges. Holding the all-time lead underscores sustained production under those matchups.

By the numbers: 8 lefty-on-lefty postseason HR, most in history; 18 career postseason HR ties second-most in NL history.

What to watch: He can extend the lefty-on-lefty record with each remaining October at-bat against southpaws.
