What happened: Fubon Guardians closer Jyun-Yue Tseng is officially available to Major League Baseball clubs through the posting system. The 24-year-old Taiwanese right-hander's negotiation window opens Nov. 8 at 8:00 a.m. ET.

Why it matters: Tseng gives major-league front offices a rare opportunity to acquire an established international closer entering his prime. Early overseas reports indicate strong interest across the league, with the Chicago Cubs among clubs monitoring the market.

What to watch: Major-league clubs can begin formal contract discussions with Tseng once the negotiation window officially opens Sunday morning.
