What happened: Gabby Williams was drafted onto Team Cooper for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, one of two squads assembled by legend team captains. The selection follows her All-Star starter nod earlier this month.

Why it matters: Williams has stacked recognitions this season, from an early WNBA Defensive Player of the Year case to a multi-year Unrivaled deal, and now a captain's pick for the All-Star roster. It marks continued momentum for a player who has become a focal point of Golden State's identity this season.

What to watch: Team Cooper faces Team Weatherspoon in the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game on July 25.
