What happened: Alabama trailed 10-0 before Keelon Russell found Marshall Pritchett for a 22-yard touchdown. An 80-yard drive capped by EJ Crowell as time expired gave the Tide a 14-10 halftime lead.

Why it matters: Georgia arrived undefeated and ranked No. 2 under Kirby Smart, the championship measuring stick. Staying composed after falling behind keeps Alabama in the January title conversation.

By the numbers: Russell: 185 passing yards, 1 TD, 41 rushing yards. Game swing: 10-0 deficit to 14-10 halftime lead on 22-yard TD plus 80-yard TD drive.

What to watch: Alabama gets a chance to build on the first-half response with Russell developing against SEC defenses. Late-game execution is the next test for a January run.
