What happened: Linebacker Germaine Pratt and the same Kenneth Harris who went through August roster cuts move from the practice squad to the active roster for #INDvsMIN, while punter Thomas Morstead departs the practice unit. Pratt arrived via an Oct. 13 signing, and rookie cornerback Harris logs his second 2026 elevation after previously dressing on Sept. 12.

Why it matters: Elevating Pratt and Oklahoma State product Harris supplies immediate regular-season depth at linebacker and cornerback for the Week 7 matchup. Releasing Morstead from the practice squad confirms no extra game-day punting contingency is needed.

By the numbers: Pratt, drafted 72nd overall in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of NC State, posted 126 tackles and one interception across 16 games in 2025 (as of Oct. 13, 2026). Signed on Aug. 26, 2026, Harris now holds two practice-squad elevations in the 2026 season (Sept. 12 and Oct. 24).

What to watch: Pratt and Harris automatically revert to the practice squad after #INDvsMIN unless promoted to the 53-man roster, while Morstead becomes an unrestricted free agent.
