What happened: The Giants released a film breakdown of wide receiver Malachi Fields' college tape from his time at Notre Dame. The post highlights the boundary receiver's production and big-body profile ahead of his first NFL season.

Why it matters: The offseason spotlight signals how the team views the rookie they traded up to No. 74 to draft in April. Film features like this typically point to a player the staff expects to factor into the receiver rotation as the 2026 season approaches.

What to watch: Watch how Fields is deployed in summer work and training camp, and whether the early film attention translates into a defined role in the receiver depth chart.
