PSA: Golden Knights hockey is back this month 😉 Via @GoldenKnights on X

What happened: The Golden Knights open their four-game preseason Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. PT in Ontario, California. Their first home exhibition arrives Sept. 24, and the slate closes Sept. 26.

Why it matters: The NHL's reduced preseason accompanies expansion to an 84-game schedule under the new collective bargaining agreement. Vegas gets just three days between its exhibition finale and the start of its 10th season.

By the numbers: Four exhibitions span eight days: two on the road, then two at home. The final three games each start at 7 p.m. PT.

What to watch: Training camp is the next roster checkpoint before exhibition games begin.
