What happened: The game was tied in Tampa Bay in the seventh inning. Nathaniel Lowe lined a two-run single in the eighth to move Cleveland in front.

Why it matters: A late road lead gives Cleveland a path to early control of the ALCS after surviving a winner-take-all Game 5 against Chicago. Holding an eighth-inning lead on the road shifts the final outs to Tampa Bay with little margin left.

What to watch: Cleveland must now close the final outs to secure the road win from Tropicana Field.
