What happened: Haas has announced Esteban Ocon's replacement for 2027 but has not yet confirmed that Oliver Bearman is staying for a third season. Both sides are keen to continue, and there is no real doubt he will remain.

Why it matters: Haas boss Komatsu had already shut down talk of a Bearman departure. Gazzetta Ferrari reports, citing Ferrari sources, that his representatives are seeking guarantees of a pathway to a Ferrari seat in 2028 as part of renewal talks.

What to watch: An announcement of Bearman's new Haas deal is the remaining piece of the 2027 lineup.
