What happened: The New York Giants welcomed franchise icons Lawrence Taylor and Harry Carson to the Quest Diagnostics Training Center on Tuesday during mandatory minicamp. The Hall of Fame linebackers observed practice and met with new head coach John Harbaugh, marking a high-profile visit during the second day of the team's final offseason program.

Why it matters: The presence of the legendary duo serves as a cultural anchor for a roster undergoing a significant overhaul following a 4–13 finish in the 2025 season. As the team integrates new pieces like return specialist Braxton Berrios, the visit reinforces the franchise's historical standards under Harbaugh's new leadership ahead of the 2026 campaign.

What to watch: The Giants wrap up mandatory minicamp on Thursday before breaking for the summer. The team is scheduled to reconvene for training camp in late July.
