What happened: The former Rams quarterback said every defensive look left him with a playmaker capable of scoring. He described working with Mike Martz as a chance to orchestrate a talent-rich offense.

Why it matters: The run produced a second title-game appearance in three seasons but ended short of another championship. That outcome left the celebrated offense with one title from its two trips.

What to watch: Attention turns to the Rams' 2026 opener on Sept. 10.
