What happened: Scuderia Ferrari said its cars completed soft-tyre laps and moved to the top of the leaderboard, with @LewisHamilton P1 and @Charles_Leclerc P2. The post came during Friday running at the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix weekend.

Why it matters: Monaco practice carries extra weight because qualifying position is often decisive on the narrow street circuit. The latest Ferrari update builds on earlier Wire Report coverage of Hamilton and Leclerc pacing Monaco FP2, reinforcing Ferrari's strong start to the weekend.

What to watch: Watch whether Ferrari's soft-tyre pace holds through final practice and qualifying. Track position will be the central variable before Sunday's race.
