What happened: The Hanwha Eagles accepted third baseman Si-hwan Roh's request to be posted for Major League Baseball clubs. The move makes the South Korean corner infielder available to all 30 major-league teams under the KBO-MLB posting agreement.

Why it matters: Roh enters the market as a power-hitting corner infielder who projects at third base or first base for major-league suitors. Early interest has centered on the Houston Astros as clubs seek lineup depth ahead of the 2027 season.

What to watch: MLB will notify clubs once the posting is officially processed, opening a 30-day negotiating window for teams to reach an agreement.
