What happened: Jameis Winston urged Giants teammates to stay a family. Winston holds the starting quarterback job with Jaxson Dart ruled out for the season following surgery.

Why it matters: John Harbaugh has praised Winston's positivity through adversity. Stability under center matters while New York adjusts without its young starter.

By the numbers: Per ESPN, Winston completed 37 of 66 passes for 567 yards with 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions in 3 games in 2025 with the Giants. Tampa Bay drafted Winston first overall out of Florida State in 2015.

What to watch: New York's next games will show whether that togetherness holds.
