If you LOVE the WR position ... this is for you! Brian Hartline joins "89" and ranks the @OhioStateFB WRs he's coached. Via @JamesPalmerTV on X

What happened: Brian Hartline joined "89" to rank the Ohio State wide receivers he coached and discuss what separated several of them during development. The segment also teased Hartline's view of how Tate could affect Cam Ward's NFL trajectory.

Why it matters: The discussion matters because Hartline's receiver pipeline remains a major reference point for NFL roster building and draft evaluation. For Cam Ward, the focus is on how a young receiver can accelerate a quarterback's transition in the upcoming 2026 season.

By the numbers: Hartline's Ohio State tenure ran from 2017 through 2025, including time as wide receivers coach, offensive coordinator and co-offensive coordinator before becoming South Florida's head coach in 2026.

What to watch: Watch for the full interview to clarify Hartline's order and the specific traits he singled out. The next checkpoint is whether that evaluation shows up in summer reports around Ward's supporting cast.
