What happened: The Atlanta Hawks established a season-long partnership directing charitable contributions toward education initiatives for 2026-27. Kenneth Nugent will donate $3 to the Hawks Foundation for every point the team scores across the campaign. Atlanta added to the total Wednesday following a 120-105 road victory over Washington.

Why it matters: Atlanta holds a 5-4 record through nine games and sits fourth in the Eastern Conference standings following back-to-back wins. Continued offensive output directly drives the community program's financial impact as the roster navigates early regular-season play.

What to watch: The Hawks return home to host the Washington Wizards at State Farm Arena on Friday at 7:00 PM ET.
