What happened: Atlanta trimmed its preseason roster ahead of the 2026-27 opening night. McKneely started in Vegas summer action for Atlanta.

Why it matters: The cut comes as Atlanta pares camp numbers for the regular-season roster limit. It leaves one fewer camp deal on the books entering the final preseason dates.

What to watch: Atlanta closes preseason and sets its opening-night roster.
