What happened: Erik Spoelstra challenged a foul on Pelle Larsson drawn by Rui Hachimura with 1.7 seconds left and Miami leading 107-106. The challenge succeeded, but review put the foul on Bam Adebayo instead of Larsson, and Hachimura went to the line for two free throws. The play came in the Clippers' game with Miami.

Why it matters: The ruling kept the foul on the Heat, so Los Angeles still got the free throws. Miami came in 2-5 after a 138-117 loss at the Lakers on Nov. 2.

By the numbers: Adebayo: 16.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game in 2026-27 through 8 games. Larsson: 11.4 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in 2026-27 through 7 games.

What to watch: Hachimura's free throws decide whether Miami holds the lead or the game goes level in the final seconds.
