What happened: Ariel Helwani announced a live edition of his MMA show from City Winery on Friday evening. The guest lineup includes Dustin Poirier, Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson, Joe Pyfer, and Kyle Daukaus. The episode is presented by FRE Pouch and airs ahead of UFC 328 weekend.

Why it matters: The timing positions the show as a marquee MMA media stop on UFC 328 fight week, headlined by Khamzat Chimaev vs. Sean Strickland on May 9. Helwani's live tapings typically generate news cycles through guest interviews, and a Poirier appearance often draws attention given his standing in the lightweight division. Wonderboy and rising middleweight Joe Pyfer add additional storylines across weight classes.

What to watch: Watch for newsworthy quotes from Poirier on his career status and from Pyfer on his next booking. Helwani's interviews frequently surface fight announcements or callouts that move the UFC news cycle into Saturday's UFC 328 card.
