What happened: Matched up against Kevon Looney on an isolation switch, Isaiah Collier attacked the veteran center off the dribble.

Why it matters: Opposing ball-handlers hunting Looney on the perimeter have fueled early-season scrutiny of the backup center spot during the opening week of the 2026-27 campaign.

What to watch: Defensive scheme adjustments in pick-and-roll coverage will determine how much perimeter switching Looney handles going forward.
