Ja'Kobi Lane was a chain mover in his first game back and his role could produce even more impressive plays. https://t.c Via @Ravens on X

What happened: Lane secured a first-down conversion in his return to the lineup after a wrist-surgery stint on injured reserve. The 2026 third-round pick out of USC went 80th overall.

Why it matters: A contributing rookie widens the rotation for the stretch of the 2026 regular season. Early chain-moving production points to a defined role rather than a limited return.

By the numbers: 80th overall in 2026 out of USC; 11-yard first-down reception in return game.

What to watch: Snap share and targets in the next game will show whether his role expands beyond situational looks.
