What happened: The contested midrange basket pushed the New York Knicks to their largest margin of the night while the game remains in progress. Brunson has added 1 rebound and 2 assists alongside his scoring output to pace the offense.

Why it matters: Cade Cunningham has countered with an all-around floor game, posting 15 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 assists. Scoring directly over Cunningham gives New York separation in a matchup featuring heavy usage from both lead guards.
