What happened: The club approved the right-hander's request to pursue an MLB move this offseason. The posting application period runs from Nov. 1 to Dec. 15.

Why it matters: The decision makes a Pacific League ERA champion available to MLB clubs. If he signs, the club would lose a starter who threw 146 innings this season.

By the numbers: In 23 appearances in 2026, he struck out 141 and walked 45 over 146 innings.

What to watch: The filing date and subsequent contract talks will determine whether he moves to MLB this winter.
