What happened: Mason McCormick jumped onto the pile late during the game, drawing an on-air remark from Jason Kelce, per James Palmer. Kelce noted on the broadcast that John Runyan used to make that same move frequently.

Why it matters: Late pile-ons by offensive linemen routinely draw scrutiny from officials and broadcast crews during physical regular-season matchups. Kelce also noted during the broadcast that no team had been stopped on three consecutive quarterback sneaks.

What to watch: Officials continue to monitor late contact around the pile for unnecessary roughness infractions as the 2026 regular season progresses.
