What happened: On The Bill Simmons Podcast, Bill Simmons said Kansas City's left tackle spot is unsettled because Josh Simmons, who was supposed to start there this season, has not played. He said a story leaked this week that Simmons put his feet up on a table, and that Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid were angry and removed him from a meeting.

Why it matters: Simmons said the situation is not going well, and noted that Kansas City's right tackle was also injured in the game at Seattle. On the show, he added that the Chiefs have had injuries at wide receiver too.

What to watch: Simmons and guest Cousin Sal still expect the Chiefs to make the playoffs, though Simmons said the AFC West title could be in play. Denver sits a game back, he said.
