The LeBron/Jaylen Brown connection debuted at MSG… their home debut is next 🍿 @KingJames (14p, 9r, 7a) and @FCHWPO (19p Via @NBA on X

What happened: Philadelphia returns home after opening the 2026-27 regular season with a road victory at Madison Square Garden. Brown and James connected on back-to-back third-quarter baskets in that contest to keep the offense moving in a one-point game.

Why it matters: Splitting primary playmaking and rebounding duties between both wings gives the 76ers versatile half-court creation alongside their transition attack. A win over an Eastern Conference visitor would push Philadelphia to 2-0 to start the campaign.

By the numbers: Brown posted 19 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists in the opener, while James finished with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists in his Year 24 debut.

What to watch: Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ESPN.
