What happened: Jayson Tatum is questionable for rest ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks, while Payton Pritchard is questionable due to a right shoulder contusion. Devin Carter remains out as he continues to recover from an illness. Boston enters the contest following a 109-93 road loss to the Houston Rockets.

Why it matters: Boston sits at 5-2 through seven games, holding the third seed in the Eastern Conference. Managing Tatum's workload early in the regular season tests the Celtics' backcourt depth, especially with Pritchard nursing a shoulder issue after signing his contract extension in October.

What to watch: Boston finalizes its active roster before tipoff against Milwaukee on Wednesday night.
