What happened: The Utah Jazz upgraded guard Kobe Bufkin to available on Monday ahead of their matchup with the San Antonio Spurs. Trey Alexander and Harrison Ingram were ruled out on two-way assignments. Jaren Jackson Jr. remains sidelined with a right knee MCL tear, while the team also ruled out Jusuf Nurkic with a right foot injury.

Why it matters: Bufkin provides backcourt depth after previously being designated questionable. The ongoing absences of Jackson and Nurkic continue to test Utah's frontcourt rotation early in the regular season.

What to watch: The Utah Jazz visit the San Antonio Spurs on Monday, with tipoff set for 8:30 PM ET.
