What happened: Atlanta Falcons safety Jessie Bates credited former quarterback Matt Ryan's presence around the organization during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show. Bates emphasized that having an experienced leader in the building reinforces what championship preparation requires.

Why it matters: The veteran guidance comes as Atlanta navigates a 3-4 campaign while integrating young talent across both sides of the ball. The Falcons rely on Bates to set the tone defensively as the team looks to sustain momentum following its latest win.

What to watch: The Falcons continue their regular-season schedule aiming to reach .500 and remain in NFC postseason contention.
