What happened: New York Jets running back Breece Hall is not expected to play Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a quadriceps injury. Backup Braelon Allen is slated to handle starting running back duties in Hall's absence.

Why it matters: New York enters the matchup at 2-5 after dropping two consecutive games. Hall's absence places additional responsibility on Allen to anchor the ground attack as the Jets look to halt their slide.

By the numbers: Last season (2025), Hall ran 243 times for 1,065 yards and four touchdowns in 16 games with the Jets. Allen ran 18 times for 76 yards and one touchdown in four games last season (2025).

What to watch: The Jets face the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, with kickoff scheduled for 1:00 PM ET.
