What happened: TSN's Darren Dreger said the Jets have received "terrible" trade offers for Connor Hellebuyck so far. Dreger also said the three-time Vezina winner is not expected to waive his no-trade clause to stay in Canada, further narrowing potential landing spots.

Why it matters: That combination leaves the club with less leverage as the offseason clock runs down and a premium position still unresolved. The Jets open training camp Sept. 16, shrinking the window for a deal before roster decisions and camp planning take over.

What to watch: The next pressure point is whether the market improves before camp opens Wednesday. If not, the trade request and no-trade limits will carry straight into camp.
