Seven months have passed since Buffalo made the change.

What happened: Josh Allen told Mike Silver of The Athletic he repeatedly revisits plays where he believes he could have done more. He was heavily involved in Buffalo's search for Sean McDermott's successor.

Why it matters: Buffalo promoted general manager Brandon Beane and offensive coordinator Joe Brady after dismissing McDermott. The changes increase pressure on the Bills to reach their first Super Bowl since 1993 and win one for the first time.

By the numbers: Allen committed four turnovers as Buffalo lost 33-30 in overtime at Denver. The defeat ended the Bills' season in the divisional round.

What to watch: The 2026 season will test whether Buffalo's changes can produce a deeper playoff run.
