What happened: Michael Venom Page said his three-fight Misfits Boxing deal will pay seven figures, more than six UFC appearances combined. Josh Barnett answered by questioning whether the promotion can sustain that model for veterans. Page moved to Misfits after his UFC departure.

Why it matters: The comparison revives the UFC pay debate with first-person math from a recent departure. Crossover boxing continues to attract established MMA names with bigger stated purses. Barnett's skepticism adds veteran scrutiny to whether those terms hold up.

What to watch: Misfits or Page could detail terms or set a debut date and opponent. A booked fight will test whether the money comes with activity.
