What happened: Josh Norris scored his second goal of the game to pace the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. The scoring play marked a two-goal performance for Norris as Buffalo built offensive momentum.

Why it matters: Multi-goal production from Norris provides the Sabres with high-leverage scoring early in the 2026-27 regular season. Sustained offensive output from the top six remains critical as Buffalo battles for position in the Atlantic Division.

What to watch: The Sabres will aim to finish the contest strong and carry Norris's offensive form into their upcoming schedule.
