What happened: Jovan Buha debuted 'Buha's Block,' an NBA podcast airing two episodes per week focused on the Los Angeles Lakers. One weekly installment features a guest, while a second weekly live session with co-host BigWos breaks down early-season matchups around the league.

Why it matters: The premiere follows the opening week of the 2026-27 NBA regular season, after the Lakers opened the season with a 127-105 win on Oct. 21. Early league-wide discussions center on the Philadelphia 76ers' 114-106 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Oklahoma City Thunder's 96-84 win against the Denver Nuggets on Oct. 22.

By the numbers: Los Angeles sits at 1-0 following its 22-point opening-night victory on Oct. 21. Cleveland (0-1) fell by eight points in Philadelphia on Oct. 22, while Denver (0-1) was held to 84 points in a 12-point road loss at Oklahoma City the same night.
