What happened: Special teams coordinator Bones Fassel addressed Julius Chestnut earning AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for Week 6. Fassel also discussed how blocked punts create big return opportunities in the kicking game.

Why it matters: The conference recognition highlights a key special teams role for the same Julius Chestnut who arrived in Halloween attire in September. Impact plays in the kicking phase remain a Thursday focal point for Fassel's unit during the 2026 regular season.

What to watch: Chestnut and Fassel's special teams unit continue regular-season preparation following Thursday's coordinator availability.
