What happened: Randle drew a warm ovation from the crowd during starting lineup introductions ahead of tip-off. The matchup marks his first appearance in the building as a member of the Nets following an offseason move to Brooklyn.

Why it matters: Randle spent five seasons in New York before being traded to Brooklyn in June in a three-team draft-eve deal. His return anchors a revamped frontcourt as he takes on an immediate primary scoring role with his new club.

What to watch: Randle looks to build on his early-season offensive rhythm as Brooklyn navigates its regular-season schedule.
