What happened: Payton Tolle met with Junior Caminero on Thursday while working in a media credentialed role ahead of the 2026 World Series. Tolle joined the press corps during a 45-minute Media Day session prior to the series opener.

Why it matters: MLB selected Tolle to appear on MLB Network and produce league content across Media Day and Game 1. Caminero, who prepared for the 2026 Home Run Derby in July, advanced to the Fall Classic after hitting a seventh-inning home run off the foul pole in ALCS Game 6 that stretched the lead to 5-1.

What to watch: Tolle's correspondent assignment continues through World Series Game 1 on Friday as Caminero opens play for his club's first championship title.
