What happened: Following a walk by Jonathan Aranda, 2026 Home Run Derby entrant Junior Caminero lined a double down the left-field line to snap a 1-1 tie. The hit left the Tampa Bay Rays with runners on second and third base and no outs in the top of the sixth inning.

Why it matters: Caminero broke through after being robbed earlier in the contest on a deep drive to center field. Generating a lead while keeping two runners in scoring position with nobody out gives Tampa Bay an immediate opportunity to build separation in the middle innings.

By the numbers: Caminero's earlier flyball to center field came off the bat at a 111 mph exit velocity with a 29-degree launch angle, the only batted ball with those figures all season that did not leave the ballpark. The sixth-inning line drive was his third double of the postseason.

What to watch: Tampa Bay looks to plate the two runners in scoring position with no outs in the sixth and hold the lead through the late innings.
